I simply cannot believe that this show is cancelled. It was the only show on CBC that I actually thought was worth watching, other than Coronation Street. Every Sunday morning, my dogs and I would wake up, put on a pot of tea, and watch Corrie until CBC News Sunday came on. It was our Sunday morning ‘ritual’. I can’t believe that CBC has cancelled this show, it just goes to show you that whoever is in charge there knows nothing about what people want to watch on Television. Very sad indeed!

I can only vaguely recall that he was a homeless guy and Annie asked him to help fix the RV. The way he shows up makes it seem like he’s got some special powers or something though, which was kind of weird, and never really explained.

I’m pretty sure it’s not the shoes– I busted up this knee a few years ago– I was running to catch the subway, tripped, fell forward, put my hands out like Superman, but my knee hit the ground first. It hurt a lot and felt like liquid was running from the kneecap, so I thought I was bleeding, but there was no skin breakage. I had a huge bruise for a long time and it’s never been the same since.

The pain increases with force applied but it’s not as sharp as it was in the beginning, so it is getting better with rest, I’m just sort of impatient. I expect things to heal faster :)

maybe your knee pains are due to running shoes? both G and his sister recently got new shoes for running and their knees are feeling better.

I mostly use milk for cereal and tea, and occasionally for drinking with really sweet stuff, like cakes and cookies, and for all of those items I prefer the taste of cow’s milk. I’ve also tried commercially available lactose-free milk, and I think I still prefer the regular cow’s milk. So for now, I’m okay with using the lactase tablets.
