I have not gone running in 6 days.

I pushed on my toe this morning, and it takes more pressure to make it hurt, and it’s only in one spot, and there is no inflammation, and it’s not red. I think it should be okay to run today. I’m also afraid that if I don’t run I’ll lose endurance and muscle tone and general fitness. I haven’t even being doing strength training in the mean time, I’ve just been vegetating. Oh well. I tried on my summer pants, the ones that I could fit into in January, after I hadn’t been exercising and my muscles had atrophied. Now that I’ve been exercising regularly, they don’t fit anymore. Some of it is probably muscle, but I think some of it is fat because I can no longer zipper them all the way, because my abdomen is too large, and I think any additional flesh in that area would be due to fat, not muscle. I have not done anything in that area to recruit more muscle tissue or even utilize any existing muscle tissue. Blurg.
