Hemingway vs. The Journalist

I really like the Hemingway theme, I enjoy the look, all the black, but I do miss the ability to scroll through multiple posts, so I’m going to try out The Journalist theme for a while and see how I like it. The Journalist has more widgets, but it’s still pretty clean, which I enjoy. Strangely, I can put up with physical clutter in my apartment, but I really cannot stand a cluttered website. It helps that I don’t actually have to do the organizing on the internet, I just have to check off little boxes and the posts organize themselves, unlike my dishes and clothes.

My apartment was quite tidy last weekend. I organized my closet, moved a table and consolidated some crap. This weekend, there are plastic bags and yarn all over the floor, and dishes all over the counter. The stove is covered in chicken fat splatter because I spent yesterday cutting the fat of chicken legs, and then frying them, and tonight I’ll probably render some more fat. See, there’s no point cleaning the stovetop until all the rendering/frying is done.

Hmm. I just noticed The Journalist theme doesn’t have a tagline underneath the title. I like my tagline. Food. Television. Sloth. Rants. Though I’ve really cut down on the online ranting.
