Jeans + Eggs + Cocoa

My jeans are starting to get holey. They are the only pair of jeans that fit me right now. All the other pairs are either tight in the thighs, and cannot be buttoned, or can be buttoned, but are too tight to wear in public.

I had a potentially brilliant/crazy/stupid idea the other day: egg poached in hot cocoa.

I’ve been making a light version of ice cream custard to drink almost every night and I’ve been simplifying the recipe, so now I just add everything all at once, in the one pot. No mixing the sugar and yolk beforehand etc. and no tempering since it’s all added cold/room temperature. It tastes fine. Anyway, as I was adding the yolk one day, I thought it might be cool to try adding a whole egg, and poach it in the cocoa. It could be a dessert. It could be awesome.

So, I’m going to poach an egg in cocoa and I’ll report back later.
