The game is not over yet, but regardless of what happens, he is awesome. Two nights ago he made an awesome save where he swept the goal out of the crease from behind him, with his stick. It was amazing, and much more impressive than I can make it sound. And he made it look effortless, like he had eyes in the back of his head. And he’s only 20. He has George Strait and Garth Brooks painted on either side of his mask. I forgot the word mask; I kept thinking helmet, but I knew that was not the right word. And it was driving me crazy that I could not think of the proper term, so thank god for Hockey Night in Canada announcers. You can watch the CBC games online. I am still amazed by the interweb, all the stuff that is available. You don’t really need a TV anymore. The internet is your TV.

My feet hurt. It was a nice day to be walking around despite the smog advisory. My lungs did not notice that the air quality was only fair, but I could see that the sky was a little dirty looking. I walked south and west, and that was my exercise for the day since I when I woke up my legs were a bit sore and I’m supposed to have one day of rest, according to this running schedule that I am not following. I traded in 40 of my old CDs, that I no longer listen to, for 4 Ryan Adams CDs. Some of the RA CDs look and feel like they’ve never been listened to. There’s still great resistance in removing some of the CDs from the case, and the booklets look pristine. I wonder who owned them before me and why they got rid of them. Maybe they were unappreciated gifts. I’m glad they were not abused.

Here’s another picture of RA:

I also wanted to be blond, about 20 years ago. I wanted red and purple hair about 5 years ago. I did end up dyeing my hair, it ended up sort of a reddish brown and also a dark dark plum-ish colour. I refused to bleach my hair, so I couldn’t really change the colour that much, and I’m glad, because I got tired of it long before it grew out, and ended up cutting the remains off. I hated when the roots started coming out, it just looked weird, but I didn’t want to dye the roots because I just wanted to be done with hair dye altogether. I will not dye my hair again until 10% of it is white. At first I was thinking 30%, but that’s probably a bit too much, so I’ll stick with 10% for now.

Jeez. Boston just scored. Blurg.
