  1. Currently, eating just about anything makes me bloat. I do not know what sort of processing is going on in my digestive regions, but the bacteria are working pretty hard I would say. It seems that everything I am eating causes me to bloat, even when they were not bloaty foods before. Kind of irritating. I think it’s mostly vegetables doing the bloating, but really, I cannot live on meat and grains alone.
  2. Ryan Adams likes Kandinsky. I have inferred this from this photo, but I do not know if this inference is true or false. However, I believe there is enough evidence to conclude that there is a Kandinsky book on his bookshelf. I am pretty sure that’s a Kandinsky book, unless there’s some sort of copy-cat artist with a name ending in -dinsky and similar art, and I do not think there is. I went through a Kandinsky obsession a few years ago. It started at Lenbachhaus, the best art museum in Munich, and the prettiest. That is probably my second favorite art museum. Number one is the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. If I lived in either of those cities I would probably visit the museum every week. It’s so much nicer to see art in person, the colours are more vivid and you can see the texture and the brush strokes, but I think it’s the use of colour that I love the most. Seeing art makes me want to play with colours too.
  3. I was skimming an article online about JK Rowling’s lawsuit and read ‘emotional troll’ instead of ‘emotional toll’. I like that phrase, emotional troll, it has so many potential uses. I must try to insert it into my everyday vocabulary. I think mostly I enjoy the word troll, and words containing it, like trolling.
  4. I watched part of the Habs game on Saturday, after not watching hockey for years. I saw a TOTALLY ridiculous slashing call against Montreal. I had no idea the Habs did so well this season. I don’t recognize many of the names anymore, but I still hope they win. I pretty much abandonned hockey after Patrick Roy got traded to the Avalanche (devastating) and the divisions were renamed (disgusting). I was also annoyed that the Habs systematically traded all of my favorite players. I still don’t like the division names and I had no idea that the Minnesota North Stars moved to Dallas and the Minnesota team is now called the Wild. That is a terrible name.
  5. I went for a run tonight. I managed to do 4 laps, the last lap was the best one, I was able to run the whole lap and without pain, but my foot was totally numb at the end, so I decided I better stop. It took the three previous laps to warm up, with walking and stretching before I felt comfortable. I think I can probably run every third day without making things a lot worse. I will be happy with that.
  6. My body is unhappy with something that I ate. I must repose.
