30 Rock, oh how I’ve missed you

In anticipation of a new episode, I went to the NBC website, to read an episode preview, but they also had videos, which I couldn’t resist, but then after a few seconds I pressed stop as not to spoil myself. I do enjoy the episodes more when I have no idea what the story line will be, so I’m not really sure why I had to go to the NBC site to see what was going on. The site also had an interview with Tina Fey, she said that this episode was written specifically to be Tivo’d and watched two or three times and that there was enough material for you to notice new things each time. Awse.

It’s been ages since I’ve written anything about television. One good thing about the writer’s strike – I realized I can live without television and be perfectly happy. There are so many other things I could be doing and did do, since I really don’t like reality television, or shit TV. It really made me see how much complete crap there is on television. Before, in the olden days, when there were decent things on, I flipped quickly through the shit and never bothered to see just how shitty it was, but in these past few months, I’ve seen shitty television shows. Thank god for PBS, which has no advertising and excellent programming.

I think 30 Rock is the only show that I’ve really missed. The others I can do without; however, Gossip Girl is pretty entertaining. :)
